Mongolia commemorates the Day for Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression nationwide on September 10 every year. This year the country observes the day for the 24th year to remember the dark days that happened 82 years ago.
Together with the local government authorities of Mandal soum of Selenge aimag and the Sub-Commission for the Rehabilitation of the Victims of Political Repression, Boroo Gold Company has paid a tribute to the deceased soum residents who suffered political repressions. During the event, the company presented 5-wall gers (Mongolian yurt) to Ch. Namjilmaa, daughter of victim Chimiddorj
Nyamdavaa, D. Ariuntsetseg, grand-daughter of victim Dagva Luvsan, and B. Damdinsuren, son of victim Badamsed Ulzii.
Moreover, the Governor’s Office of Mandal soum provided firewood to the victims’ families.
